RICHARD PRYOR "HALL OF HONOR"
To give recognition to those comedians, actors, actresses, politicians and rappers who have been
acknowledged users or supporters of the n-word in the past but now have recognized the error in their ways,
knowing that continual usage of the n-word lends to a preconditioned "I am a n**ga" mindset of 300 years. A
mindset meant to psychological enslave, demean and degrade. Recognizing that the standards of the black
community must be uplifted to the level of self-respect, pride, dignity and honor.
selling ones soul to the devil for the almighty dollar isn't worth sacrificing the sanctity of the African American's
psyche and well being. And finally, finally accepting the fact...that it's imperative...that we as a community
learn to honor and respect the struggles and sacrifices of our ascendants who were subjected to
systematic atrocities and killings all in the name of the n-word and that in their honor, usage of such a word will
no longer be condoned. And for having the strength and courage to stand up against those
who have yet to see the light and are still trying to find their way we salute:
